The Endocrinology, Diabetes & NutritionDivision at the University of Maryland School of Medicine is recruiting for afull time faculty member to work in the laboratory of Dr. Stephen Davis conductingresearch on diabetes and complications of hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia on thecardiovascular system. The position will include protocol development andwriting, performance of data and statistical analysis, as well as preparation andpresentation of scientific reports and manuscripts. The candidate will assistin grant writing, design and prepare study manuals, procedural guidelines, monitortools, SOPs and related clinical documents (CRFs, ICFs, protocol templates).
Minimum requirements for this positioninclude: a Ph.D. with three years' experience in hyperinsulinemic euglycemic,hyperinsulinemic hypoglycemic and pancreatic clamps. Strong preference will begiven to a candidate who has published significant peer-reviewed articles, hasmentored students and possesses good interpersonal skills.
