University Marketing and Communications
Develops effective marketing and communications strategies, plans, programs and materials of a specialized and complex nature to promote UMSL people and programs.
Write and edit content for various campus media channels and student recruitment materials – including UMSL Daily, UMSL Magazine, UMSL websites, UMSL marketing materials, UMSL CRM and social media.
Initiate external media coverage of campus activities, programs and people.
Confer with and advise faculty and staff concerning the planning and proper use of public relations approaches to help meet their goals.
Help maintain and monitor UMSL social media platforms.
Other duties as assigned.
- A bachelor's degree in journalism, communications or related areas.
- A minimum of one year of experience in related field is required.
- Two years or more of professional experience in a news media or organizational PR role
$19.47 per hour
