The Mixed Methods Research Lab (MMRL) is a service center that works with investigators to provide conceptual and technical support for mixed method, community based and clinical research studies. As part of the MMRL research team, the research coordinator has a supportive role on various ongoing research projects. The research coordinator will be entering survey and screening data into MS Access, REDCap, and NVivo databases. To assist with data management, she/he will also clean, format, and prepare transcripts and other data for coding and analysis. The research coordinator will also support the study team in coding and analysis and may be asked to participate in team meeting and synthesize themes in qualitative data. In addition, the incumbent may participate in recruitment efforts, writing IRB protocols, and qualitative data collection (including interviewing, group moderation, and note taking, and conducting participant observations.) Some travel may be required.
