Part of Memorial’s Office of Graduate Medical Education, the GME Coordinator IV position has primary management responsibility of all of Memorial’s Medical Student programs. This includes an active Medical Student Elective program as well as the Medical Student Summer Fellowship Program.
Proactively manage all Medical Student programs to ensure their quality and effective management.
Interact with a large group of interested stakeholders including medical school deans, Memorial faculty, and students from both US and international medical schools.
Oversee applicant screening, enrollment, and evaluation processes.
For the Summer Research program, work closely with this program’s Principle Investigator to ensure compliance with all requirements while supporting the excellence of this long-standing program.
Contribute to the preparation of the competing renewal as well as annual non-competing renewals in accordance with NIH guidelines.
Be responsible for soliciting research projects from MSK faculty, creating application and informational materials for student applicants, organizing a special summer lecture program and monitoring the success of the program via analysis of evaluation materials.
Serve as the administrative liaison for MSK’s Graduate Medical Education Committee, supporting the GMEC Chair in ensuring effective oversight over MSK GME programs. Appropriately communicate information through formal documents, department meetings, one-on-one meetings, and email or regular interpersonal communication.
Manage conflict resolution.
- Supervise the GME Administrative Assistant.

A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree; Masters preferred.
2-4 years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting
Prior GME or Medical Student experience strongly preferred
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Strong time management and organizational skills
