MSK is seeking a Director of Patient Access Service (PAS), the front door for our new patients. This is an exciting and critical position that works closely with our top surgeons, oncologists, and nurses. Overseeing more than 75 Care Advisors, the PAS Director helps patients throughout our Manhattan and regional care network access the best possible cancer care anywhere.
As the Director of PAS you will:
Oversee a group of 75+ Care Advisors who help prospective patients identify and gain access to MSK care.
Partner with key groups across MSK to create programs that enhance access to care (e.g., Strategic Analytics, Clinical Trials, Ambulatory Care, etc.).
Identify and adopt cutting edge tools that accurately match patients to top physicians.
Oversee all aspects of PAS operations, including information management, staff development, and financial management.
Passionate about patients getting access to the best possible care
Able to lead and influence to all levels of staff.
Capable of identifying future possibilities and translating them into breakthrough strategies.
Focused on continuous improvement, knowing how to observe, extract insight, and adapt processes that optimize work flow.
Energized by building effective teams.
A Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s Degree preferred) with a minimum of 7 years of management experience.
Extensive experience in operations, ambulatory care, and/or customer or patient experience.
Strong analytic and communication skills.
