Essential Functions: - Conduct literature reviews- Collect and analyze data- Prepare materials for submission to grantingagencies/foundations, including progress reports for the PI and funding agency.- Prepare materials for Human Subject Committee review-Prepare materials for Animal Investigation Committee review- Prepare interview questions and recruit and/or interviewsubjects. Maintain accurate records of interviews, safeguard the confidentiality of subjects and summarize interviews.- Provide ready access to all experimental data for facultyresearcher/supervisor.- Supervise undergraduate students; act as liaison/mediatorbetween students and faculty researchers.- Attend meetings and area seminars;- Order supplies and equipment- Monitor the project budget-Design and conduct experiments with animals-Acquire (after training) Raman Spectra from biological samples
Qualifications: - MD or DO degree required- Completion of three years of general surgery residency and being in good-standing to return to program.
