The Foote School seeks an experienced Spanish teacher for students in grades 4 through 9.
The Foote School is known for its strong modern language program with an emphasis on oral and written expression; its students begin studying modern languages in kindergarten and many progress well into high school language study by the time they complete ninth grade.

Communicate effectively with students, parents and peers
Employ a variety of instructional techniques to engage young learners
Understand the development and cognitive needs of children as they move through the middle school years
Have a commitment to our school’s mission, professional growth, teamwork, and service to the school community
Bachelor’s degree in Spanish Language or a related educational field; Master’s degree preferred
Fluency in both written and oral Spanish
Three years experience in teaching students age 9 through 15
An appreciation for independent school education and for the developmental needs of middle school students
Experience with using technology to enhance instruction
