| The Center for Biostatistics in AIDS Research (CBAR) is an organization at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health responsible for the design, monitoring and statistical analysis of clinical trials for several clinical trials networks. These include the International Maternal Pediatric Adolescent AIDS Clinical Trials (IMPAACT) group and the largest HIV-related clinical trials network in the world, the AIDS Clinical Trials Group (ACTG). Results from these trials have helped to establish the paradigm for the management of HIV disease, forming the basis of current treatment guidelines and resulting in dramatic reductions in AIDS mortality around the globe.|
We are seeking a SAS Programmer to join our team of over 100 programmers, biostatisticians, epidemiologists, and research staff in our cause to eliminate the morbidity associated with HIV-1 infection and its complications and co-infections. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in SAS programming.
Typical duties for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Importing text files into SAS datasets
- Standardizing incoming and pre-existing datasets
- Implementing and testing cross-project SAS programs
- Designing and developing project-specific SAS programs for biostatisticians, often producings analysis datasets, reports, or graphics
