The Administrative Manager represents management/administration during evening, night, and weekend hours. He/she acts by resolving administrative problems and dealing with emergency situations. The Administrative Manager is the resource for hospital and nursing policies and procedures, public relations and risk management. The responsibilities of this position include coordinating activities with ancillary departments, managing staff performance and staffing in all departments for quality of patient care. The Administrative Manager supports and adheres to the mission and values statement for the Penrose-St. Francis Health System.
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing with BSN degree.
- Individuals with degree in another field or pursuing BSN may be considered.
- Current Colorado RN Licensure
- BLS (CPR)
- Four years of experience as a staff nurse plus one year of supervisory experience.
- Requires current knowledge of the skills of each nursing unit/area, knowledge of ACLS, participation in all annual mandatory in-services, and proficiency in counseling methods used with staff in areas of policy/procedure and expected behavior.
- Must receive training/know patient care computer system for charting, order entry/retrieval, finding information, Medical Record location, basic Word understanding and e-mail access.
Light Work - exert/lift up to 20 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs. frequently.
