Our client is a full-service real estate finance advisory and principal investment firm.
The firm's core business is arranging and structuring debt finance for property investment and development projects as well as offering its clients access to mezzanine finance and joint venture equity from a range of capital providers.
In the past twelve months, the firm successfully completed 40 transactions totalling and since 2003 has financed over £7 billion of property investment and development projects in the UK and Europe.
Since 2009 the firm has also co-invested or participated in investment and development projects and special situations with target exit values in excess of £100million.
They are seeking nn experienced real estate analyst to help support the firm's real estate finance and principal investment activities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Performing due diligence and research for potential debt and equity investments across a variety of real estate asset classes.
Performing detailed cash flow modelling and risk analysis using excel.
Assisting the underwriting, structuring and closing process of prospective real estate finance and principal investment transactions.
Assume responsibility for the review and execution of minor amendments to transaction documentation.
Attendance at regular meetings with borrowers, capital providers and JV partners.
A minimum of two years' relevant real estate experience working for a leading bank, real estate investor, alternate lender or debt advisor.
Strong cash flow modelling skills with superior attention to detail.
Strong analytical skills and capacity to quickly provide sound judgement on a variety of issues.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong work ethic with a desire to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
