Real Estate Operations – Global Supplier Manager
A key member of the Aviva Investors Real Estate Operations team responsible for owning and driving value from a number of global strategic service providers. The role is critical to the success of the overall Aviva Investors Supplier Management and Supplier Framework and provides the opportunity to further establish and build world class service management from the ground up.
Ensure that all Aviva Investors managed supply or outsourced arrangements are managed to the requirements of the Procurement & Outsourcing standard.
Ensure that all risks and controls relating to managed supply or outsource relationships are within agreed appetite.
The ability to manage service provision from third party organisations and extract value from commercials relationships
The ability to obtain delivery through employing effective influencing skills and efficient resource deployment
A thorough understanding of investment management processes and systems (front office bias), in particular those supporting the Real Estate business and its products
An effective communicator
A proven understanding of service management principles and behaviours
Experience of undertaking process reviews and identifying improvements; experience of working in a 'continual service improvement' environment
Experience of managing multiple stakeholders and a range of internal and external relationships to develop our process and ensure consistent delivery standards
Experience of operating in a changing environment and collaboratively with stakeholders
Experience of working under pressure and delivering results
To ensure that service review meetings, and issue management and resolution are compliant with the outsourcing policy. This includes receiving timely papers and MI from Global Operational suppliers to ensure all meetings are run in line with our disciplines.
To support the Global Head of Service Management in any contract negotiations Take on new supplier relationships and bring together other parties to take these on and into our Global model.
QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE EXPERIENCE
ACCA, IMC or similar
Demonstrates understanding of the scope, objectives, inherent risks and risk appetite articulated in the policies and standards for which the role holder is responsible.
Ensures appropriate level of evidence gathering in support of policy compliance using Aviva Investors approved tools or systems.
Understanding of the P&O standard and how this relates to management of Aviva's managed supply and outsourced arrangements.
Experience of work in a Service Management capacity within a Global Asset Manager
Experience of Real Estate funds, products and services
Excellent interpersonal skills able to communicate effectively at all levels with the business and externally

A detailed understanding of the Investment Management life-cycle

Experience of implementing Service Provider life-cycle change including:
