Our nationally ranked, hospital based Residency Program graduates 4 residents each year. Working as a faculty member will provide you with a rewarding balance of providing direct clinical care for your own patient base, mentoring pediatric dental residents and serving children in our community most in need - all as part of a first-class, freestanding Children’s Hospital. Patients include well children and those with special health care needs. Our team includes an orthodontist/oral surgeon and a complement of skilled and engaged dental assistants, dental hygienists, clerical support staff and a leadership team dedicated to Children’s Dental Center. Care is provided at four state-of-the-art clinics located across the greater Milwaukee area. Complex care is also provided in the Operating Room at Children’s Hospital and in conjunction with medical colleagues across the organization. A focus on oral health is embedded in our Primary Care network and the Cardiac, Cancer and Cleft Lip and Palate programs. Graduate of an ADA accredited dental school with a D.D.S., D.M.D. or equivalent Degree. Must have completed an ADA accredited graduate or residency program in pediatric dentistry and have received a certificate and/or M.S. Degree. Maintains licensure in the State of Wisconsin and current registration with the Drug Enforcement Agency. Must be credentialed and be a member in good standing of the Medical/Dental Staff of Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. Experience in private practice, teaching and/or research is preferred.
