Under the direction of the Manager of Buildings and Construction, the Construction and Renovation Coordinator will play a key role in managing, scheduling and assisting on varying, small projects that support Facilities Management and Operations at the Harvard T.H Chan School of Public Health. The Construction and Renovation Coordinator is responsible for managing the day-to-day, operational and logistical aspects of projects related to:
- Facilities management - Construction management - Sustainability - Space planning - Move coordination - Events - General building operations
The Construction and Renovation Coordinator will also be responsible for the scheduling of Building Maintenance tasks (i.e. – painting, carpentry, flooring, lighting, etc.), communicating schedules and dates to building occupants and necessary subcontractors, ensuring that the work is completed in a timely manner, and others duties as assigned.
A successful candidate will have exposure to the areas listed above, and will be looking to gain a more in-depth understanding of how these pieces tie into a higher education setting.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a full-time, 37.5 hour/week position.

- 5+ years of work experience required, with 1+ of those years in property/project management experience. Education may count towards experience. - Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite required.
- Bachelor's degree in facilities planning and management, architecture/engineering or related field preferred. - 2+ years of experience in property/project management experience preferred. - Experience working in an educational, laboratory, or construction setting preferred. - Experience problem-solving and successfully seeing projects through all phases and close-out preferred. - Experience with Manhatten Centerstone eCenterOne Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) software and AutoCAD/Revit preferred. - Strong organization, computer, communication and project management skills preferred.
