Support the effective and efficient delivery of WINGS Community Based Services to clients by assisting the Manager of Community Based Services in a broad range of duties. Maintain positive working relationships with staff, volunteers, clients, and other external constituents.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the Manager of Community Based Services through managing calendar, correspondence, reports, files, events, and other needs.
Coordinate volunteer screenings and mentor interviews.
Support Manager in coordinating mentor involvement in their respective programs.
Assist in maintaining policies and procedures, protocols, requirements, supervision standards, and training materials on a regular basis for each community based program.
Translate program materials and WINGS website into Spanish. Maintain resource manual for use by service providers and community members.
Maintain volunteer mentor files and appropriate documentation of mentor files.
Attend meetings and collaborate with staff members as needed.
Assist in preparing and providing community education about Domestic Violence and WINGS services, maintain referrals to the community based programs.
Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s Degree required; social services field desirable.
Bilingual and Bi-Cultural (Spanish) skills required, fluency in written and oral Spanish required.
Experience working with survivors of domestic violence, Latino community, volunteers, homeless, or other trauma related populations preferred.
Successful completion of 40 Hour Domestic Violence Training.
Must hold ICDVP credential or pass test within one year of hire.
Must possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills, including, but not limited to; verbal and written communication; attention to detail; teamwork capabilities; problem solving skills; dependability; and the ability to maintain appropriate personal and professional boundaries.
Comfortable working independently and/or with intermittent supervision.
A willingness and ability to work some evenings and weekends.
Must have reliable transportation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required, including knowledge of Access and Excel.
A current driver’s license, automobile insurance, and a clean driving record are essential.

Single individuals (women/men/transgender) and their children are able to receive temporary safe shelter through WINGS housing while staff provides one-on-one, individuali...zed assistance that allows the clients to set personal goals that will enable them to work, continue their education, and care for themselves and their children. WINGS provides comprehensive services that focus on strengths assessment, goal setting, life skills development, financial education, career coaching, therapeutic counseling, children’s activities, and peer mentoring.
