Job Posting: The Administrative Assistant provides support for the PBS Compliance Officer by performing varied secretarial and administrative duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Organizes and expedites flow of work. Prioritizes workloads. Sets appropriate deadlines. Initiates follow-up action.
Tracks and records new provider training process.
Tracks and records reviews through completion.
Tracks requests for Compliance reviews or projects.
Obtains and batches medical records for analyst review. Produces reports from Anodyne (a report writer) or Excel Composes and produces a variety of business correspondence, statistical memoranda, minutes, reports, and related materials. Performs projects as directed from Compliance Officer. Projects may involve but are not limited to: internet research, document design, document review, data retrieval, etc. Establishes and maintains filing system and database records for Compliance Officer and Compliance Department. Ensures confidentiality and controls access to sensitive information. Performs administrative duties associated with scheduling, coordinating meetings and planning events Serves as contact to vendors. Receives and reconcile invoices. Maintains timesheets on Kronos for PBS Compliance Department. Performs other tasks as assigned. Qualification Requirements/Preferences: Education Certifications/Licensure Experience Physical Abilities EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High school diploma. A minimum of 6 months medical office experience (preferably billing or coding). CPC or CPC-A coding credentials is a plus. 2-3 years administrative/clerical experience in a busy office environment; computer literacy to include proficient use of Windows 95 to include MS Word and Excel; type 50-60 wpm; proven team worker with excellent customer relations skills.
