Nurse Practitioner (NP) for the inpatient Neurosurgery and Orthopedic Surgery unit-Nights
We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) for the inpatient Neurosurgery and Orthopedic Surgery unit (M7). He/She will work collaboratively with designated healthcare team members and manage the care of a caseload of hospitalized surgical oncology patients (Neurosurgery and Orthopedic Surgery). The NP will participate in the implementation of patient education and clinical support programs to ensure optimal care throughout the healthcare continuum.

Resourceful, securing and deploying resources effectively and efficiently
An effective communicator *Openly relatable and comfortable with diverse groups of people
Adaptable in approach and demeanor in real time to match the shifting demands of different situations
Qualifications needed are:
Current NYS RN and NP license/registration
Prescriptive privileges (or eligible)
A minimum of 3 years of related clinical experience
Related national certification required
Oncology, Neurosurgery, and/or Orthopedic Surgery experience strongly preferred
Hours: Nights fluctuating between 6p-6:30a and 7p-7:30a (depending on the needs of the services) with weekend and holiday rotation required#LI-TA1
