CIHF is seeking an Administrative Assistant with strong writing skills to develop, create, and implement a new e-newsletter. Write articles and communication materials including e-newsletter features, Healthy Futures publications, Statler News, and website content. Work with CHE Communications Department to establish template and format of new newsletter, gather submissions, photos, other content, and edit and oversee monthly distribution.
Provide administrative support to CIHF including purchasing using Pcard, I Want Docs, and eshop, serving as front end representative. Provide calendaring support to CIHF directors, act as liaison with affiliated student organization, and process travel reimbursements and Visiting Scholar applications. Set up and manage database of CIHF contacts using Excel and Salesforce. Assist with CIHF CornellCast video contributor channel. Plan and assist with several events on-site and with program material creation and promotion.
This is a part time (21 hours/week) term position through June, 2018, with the possibility of renewal.
Days/hours may be prearranged. Very limited, but potential evening, weekends, or times outside normal work hours needed at events 2-3 times/year.
Associate's degree with at least four years of high level administrative experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrated strong communication (written and oral), interpersonal and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to take initiative and handle ongoing activities with minimal supervision while using sound judgment and paying close attention to details. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, adapt to and make recommendations for change/improvements as they relate to position responsibilities. Strong computer skills particularly with Word, Excel, and Outlook. Demonstrated positive work ethic and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment while managing frequent interruptions.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience with PCard, eShop, I Want documents, and Cornell travel reimbursement system.
Experience with HTML, Lyris listerservs, Constant Contact, and Salesforce.
InDesign and Photoshop experience.
Experience with Qualtrics.
Experience working with Kuali, WebFin, and Cornell accounts.
