Posting Summary: The School of Medicine Clinical Trials Office seeks an OnCore Developer who is involved in the day to day maintenance of OnCore application including direct responsibility for configuring and monitoring to ensure the integrity of the application. Provides advanced comprehensive technical support and system administration for the OnCore enterprise initiative by ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the OnCore Clinical Trial Management System. Position will be critical in programming connectivity between OnCore and other UVA systems including Oracle, Epic and a workflow.
The successful applicant must have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline along with a minimum of a minimum of three years of experience working with database structure and design, programming, and/or software development. Previous experience developing and maintaining systems to support clinical research is preferred.
This position is restricted and contingent upon the continuation of funding.

Knowledge of relational database (SQL) and multiple programming languages. 5. Ability to write custom Oracle reports. 6. Ability to autonomously analyze complex problems; identifies critical elements and alternatives, organizes existing resources and new information to implement most appropriate solution
Required Computer Applications: Must be proficient with Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Server Web front end development using IIS, Access, and must have a good understanding of clinical coding and communication standards. Should be proficient with standard office productivity and communications software and an advanced Exel user.
