Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Secretary III for the Department of Radiation Oncology for Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey. The primary purpose of the Secretary III position is to provide a wide variety of administrative and secretarial support for faculty in Radiation Oncology Clinic. Among the key duties of this position are the following:
Answers telephones, reviews and sorts incoming correspondence, prepares outgoing mail.
Arranges meetings, notifies appropriate parties, types agenda, secures room space and distributes minutes; coordinates and maintains meeting calendar.
Completes purchase orders, check requests and other University expense requests.
Assists in arranging and coordinating travel schedules and reservations.
Assists in coordinating visa applications for exchange visitors.
Home Location Campus: Downtown New Brunswick
Experience in using Office 365, SciQuest and EndNote preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Effective oral and communication skills required.
Must be computer literate with proficiency and working knowledge of database and reporting tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
