The University of Washington's Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, Division of Physical Therapy, invites applications for a full-time, 12-month regular faculty position, at Assistant (0113) or Associate Professor (0112) level depending on qualifications and experience. This is a non-tenured position academic appointment consistent with the appointments of all Physical Therapy Division faculty. We are seeking a team-oriented individual with a commitment to teaching, research, and service who wishes to join an outstanding interdisciplinary faculty at this top-ranked Department of Rehabilitation Medicine. An academic doctoral degree (Ph.D. or foreign equivalent) and a Physical Therapy degree are required. Candidates should be licensed or eligible for licensure as a physical therapist in the State of Washington.
The ideal candidate will have a record of clinical experience and have excellent pediatric education and research skills. This position will have significant responsibility in teaching students in the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program and have a track record of research success or strong potential for development of a research program.
