|Successful Candidate will have: |
• Minimum of BA level degree Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or Marketing, required. • Minimum of 10-15 years of communications, public relations, or marketing experience with progressively increasing responsibilities required with a special interest/experience in social justice being highly desirable. • Extensive successful writing and editing experience with a variety of print and online communications media. • Demonstrated experience and leadership in managing a comprehensive strategic communications, media relations and marketing program to advance the LHF mission. • Innovative thinker, with a track record for translating strategic thinking into action plans and output. • Experience in building, mentoring and coaching a team of communications specialists. • Ability to gain the credibility and respect of the CEO and Board of Directors. • Persuasive communicator. • Ability to act as both an effective tactical and strategic thinker. • Goal-orientated, positive attitude, self-directed, passionate and motivated. • A strong network of outstanding collaborative contributors/freelancers. • Ability to manage and execute multiple projects effectively, as well as manage and meet deadlines. • Passion for the LHF mission.
