Are you looking for an opportunity to support the management of U.S. compensation programs? Do you have experience focusing on conducting job analysis and market pricing to determine appropriate pay classifications in compliance with Company policies? Do you have the ability to evaluate job descriptions, assign appropriate exemption classifications in compliance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)? Our Compensation Analyst is responsible these actions, as well as, salary survey participation and administration of salary survey database. Conduct job analysis and market pricing of new/revised jobs. Based on market data, recommends an appropriate pay level and seeks approval. Assesses exemption classifications to ensure compliance with FLSA.
Work closely with other regional compensation resources to ensure that programs and practices are compliant, well aligned and consistent with those of the broader organization.
Participate and complete U.S. 3rd party compensation surveys to ensure surveys used provide value and align with the needs of the organization and lead market pricing review every two years for applicable client group.
Administer and maintain the application that houses salary surveys and bench-marking of RGA jobs (Comp Analyst), including working with Systems team on data feeds to/from Workday.
Assist with monitoring the compensation program to ensure compensation is competitive and equitable.
Support the administration of variable compensation programs. Ensure all guidelines and compliance requirements are met.
Administer the Company long-term incentive plan system, working closely with internal staff as well as external resources.
Work with HRIS team to ensure Workday system meets compensation needs and is updated to reflect changes to salary structures, bonus programs, etc.
Intermediate Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
Proficiency with job evaluation and documentation
Competent knowledge of FLSA, EEO, Equal Pay Act and other Federal/State regulations
