The Analyst will be responsible in gathering, summarizing and analyzing student accounts data for the Student Accounts department and the Finance management team. The Analyst will be primarily responsible for maintaining the Student Accounts module and support special projects/ initiatives of the Student Accounts Department.
The Student Accounts Analyst is an integral part of the Student Accounts Department and will report directly to Director of Student Accounts.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Bachelor Degree in Finance/ Accounting or related business field.
2 + years previous experience working with database management systems with a preference working in a finance/accounting environment.
Must possess advanced spreadsheet and database skills.
Must possess strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
Ability to exercise considerable judgment and discretion in establishing and maintaining good working relationships.
Must have strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and work on multiple assignments.
Ability to solve complex problems by using logic, creativity and technology.
Demonstrate a commitment to service excellence by embodying Roosevelt's core values, mission, and vision in every aspect of the role working with students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
A positive and professional demeanor is a must.
The ability to maintain confidentiality in regard to information processed, stored, or accessed by the systems is required.
Demonstrate high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Experience in Higher Education. Ellucian Banner or other database system experience. Reporting software experience with Excel, Argos or a Data Warehouse/Analytics. Finance/ Accounting background
