School of Dentistry Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology Faculty Position, Department of Diagnostic Sciences
West Virginia University School of Dentistry is seeking applications for a full-time, clinical or tenure-track oral and maxillofacial radiology faculty position at the Assistant level in the Department of Diagnostic Sciences.Responsibilities will include didactic and clinical teaching within baccalaureate, pre-doctoral, and postdoctoral programs; participation in faculty practice; scholarly activity; and service to the University, the community, and the School of Dentistry. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to embracing the latest evidence-based developments in imaging technologies; effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; leadership skills; and a strong commitment to diversity and social justice.
Candidatesmust have a D.D.S. or D.M.D. degree from an accredited U.S. or Canadian dental school or foreign equivalent, must be eligible for a West Virginia dental license (information on licensure in WV can be found at http://www.wvdentalboard.org) and be board certified or board eligible in oral and maxillofacial radiology.The Schools of Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Public Health are part of the Robert C. Byrd Health Sciences Center Campus located in the historic community of Morgantown, West Virginia.
