Maintain all employee and applicant documentation as dictated by governing agencies.
Manages and tracks all employee disciplinary action.
Coaches. counsels and guides managers before executing employee disciplinary actions.
Maintains and process all Unemployment Notices of Entitlement and potential charges in a timely, efficient manner. Attends unemployment hearings when necessary.
Assists with recruitment tasks as needed (reviews application, interviews),
Acts as an employee relations specialist.
Monitors tardy and absenteeism reports and ensures proper documentation is issued on employees who have excessive tardiness of absenteeism problems. Reports vacation, sick, personal day and holiday use to payroll and scheduling.
Maintain employee personnel files.
May assist with investigating workplace accidents and may prepare reports for insurance carrier.
Assist the HR Director in developing and maintaining the annual EEO-1 reporting and ensures compliance with EE0-1 regulations.
Ensures compliance with USCIS Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification; periodically audits I-9.
Distributes and monitors employee performance evaluations and ensures that they are done in a time manner (i.e., three months, six months, one year and yearly thereafter.)
Updates, monitors and maintains eligible salary adjustments/increases based on three months, six months and one-year evaluations.
Reports, maintains and monitors all workers compensation case files; follow-up on open cases.
Monitors employee eligibility for benefits plans. Reviews benefits with employees and processes enrollment, cancellation or changes.
Organizes and manages annual open enrollment communication and election process.
Works with the HR Coordinator in maintaining and distributing a list of new and cancelled employees under each benefit plan to the HR Director, when needed, and vertifies benefit billing accuracy and processes for payment.
Works with the HR Coordinator in administering benefits programs such as life, health, dental and disability insurances, pension plan, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance.
Initiates in the administration of COBRA for health plans.
Maintains and coordinates employee recognition programs
Performs other duties as assigned.
