Under the direction of the Head Coach, you will help run the inter-collegiate Football program at Harvard. Focusing on the Defensive Backs, you will help instruct and develop student athletes; assist in making strategic decisions in contest situations; oversee the strength and conditioning of the athletes; assist in developing and implementing the overall recruiting strategy; and handle administrative responsibilities associated with the program operations, including recruiting logistics and planning, team travel details, and equipment ordering. You will also assist in fundraising efforts and running special events.

Bachelor's degree required. At least 3 years' experience coaching and/or playing collegiate football.
Outstanding technical, tactical and strategic knowledge of football. Strong leadership, interpersonal and communications skills, including the ability to work with and relate well to a diverse group of athletes, administrators, and University constituents. Must be able to establish yourself as a respected coach to students, University administration and faculty, alumni, and media representatives. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and a database. Basic video filming, editing and analytical ability.
The ideal candidate has a demonstrated track record of success. S/he should also have strong organizational skills and an ability to work independently. Must be able to respect and comply with guidelines set forth by Harvard, the Ivy League, and the NCAA. Valid drivers' license required.
A DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles) check is required because you will be driving student-athletes during out-of-town travel.
Ability and willingness to work in extreme weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
