Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Billing Compliance Analyst for Office of Human Research Services at the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey. Among the key duties of this position are the following:
Performs research billing compliance reviews of all budgeted schedule of events (bSOE), protocol documents, and clinical trial sponsor budgets.
Responsible for ensuring that non-routine and routine care in clinical research services are identified and coded appropriately with corresponding federal and non-federal fee schedule rates.
Perform prospective reimbursement analysis with the CMS National Coverage Determination Decision and all applicable billing regulations, third party reimbursements, and University policy.
Home Location Campus: Downtown New Brunswick
One to two (1-2) years of experience in clinical research conduct, administration or coordination preferred.
Knowledge of regulatory, finance and administrative requirements of third party billing for clinical trials and accounting principles for research preferred.
Experience or training in clinical research budgeting, financial management, and/or coding preferred.
Understanding of the software program Oncology Collaborative Research Environment (Oncore®) is preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Solid knowledge of computer software programs such as Excel®, Word®, and/or Access®.
