Our highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider (APP) team at Memorial Sloan Kettering is comprised of over 450 Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants. We are currently seeking a APP for our outpatient Palliative Medicine Service. The APP will provide care to outpatient oncology patients to provide comprehensive care to meet their medical and psychosocial needs, implement and evaluate standards of care, and participate in research necessary to establish exemplary, evidence-based care.

Work Full-time 10 hour days, Monday-Friday.
Provide pain and palliative care to adult oncology patients in independent and shared practice mode
- Collaborate with disease management teams and members of the Palliative Care interprofessional team to provide care throughout the illness trajectory and continuum of care
Participation as part of an interprofessional team to provide continuity of care throughout various stages of treatment and follow-up
Facilitate the transition from inpatient to outpatient care management and the discussion of goals of care and transitional care services and settings
Qualifications needed for a PA candidate are:
Graduate from an accredited PA program
Active NYS license or be qualified for state licensure
A minimum of 2 years of related experience is preferred
Qualifications needed for an NP candidate are:
Current New York State (NYS) RN and NP licenses/registrations
Master’s degree in nursing, prescriptive privileges (or eligibility)
3+ years of related clinical experience
Related National NP certification
Hours: 10 hour days flexed between 7am-7pm, Monday - Friday #LI-TA1
