Research within this lab involves radiolabeled and/or fluorescent drugs/pharmaceuticals and/or monoclonal antibodies.
As a Senior Research Technician, you will:
Perform experimental tests related to radiopharmaceutical and fluorescence studies by using cell culture, analysis of blood and tissue specimens (e.g. immunoreactivity, HPLC, autoradiography, ELISA, electrophoresis etc.)
Prepare media related for all tissue culture
Handle and count samples with radioactive and/or fluorescent material
Handle animals for biodistribution and therapy studies
Maintain the cell lines and animal colonies necessary for experiments
Create, edit, and modify spreadsheets to produce basic charts and databases by generating tables, queries, and building reports which incorporate data from internal/external sources as requested
Respond to and produce reports comprising of the requested statistics for the study as requested by the study investigator and research team
Adhere to documented procedures for management staff, clinical staff and researches by keeping up-to-date on new and improved procedures
Bachelor's or Master's in Biology or related study with 2+ years of relevant research experience. Previous experience working with animal models strongly preferred
