The Role and Projects
We are seeking a Strategic Analyst II who will serve as the primary analyst on our institution-wide Growth and Inpatient Sustainability initiative, a multidisciplinary initiative to develop new clinical programs as well as improving the operational efficiency of our resources. Discharge Efficiency: The process of discharging patients from the hospital is complex, involving many stakeholders. What parts of the process are the key bottlenecks? How can we fix those issues?
Clinical Care Segmentation: The reasons patients are treated in an inpatient setting are complex and varied. How can we develop meaningful cohorts of patients that enable both clinical and administrative decision-making?
Partnerships: How can we identify opportunities for new partnerships with other organizations (e.g. visiting nurse services, other hospitals, ACOs) that help us take better care of our patients?

Comfortable with using quantitative techniques (e.g. machine learning, forecasting, and predictive modeling) to solve business problems
Hungry to make processes and systems more effective and efficient
A versatile storyteller, able to communicate complex technical subjects to non-technical audiences
