The Immune Monitoring Facility is dedicated to providing laboratory services and translational research to support immune monitoring during cancer immunotherapy.
As a Research Assistant, you will:
Perform a variety of laboratory procedures in support of immune monitoring of cancer immunotherapy trials
Develop and validate multicolor flow cytometry assays (antibody panel development for surface and intracellular staining)
Conduct clinical sample testing with validated flow assays
Perform cellular culture work such as whole blood PBMC isolation, stimulation and culturing of human cells.
Bachelor’s in Biology or related with 5+ years of relevant experience or Master’s with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
Broad knowledge of and extensive experience in multiparameter flow cytometry techniques, general immunology assay methods, aseptic technique and tissue/cell culture, experience with human clinical samples, and experience with peripheral blood separation and cryopreservation of cells highly preferred.
- Experience with other types of immunology assays (ELISA, multiplex immunoassays) would be a plus.
Must be detail-oriented and have good organizational and communication capabilities.
