The Communications Department at MSK is seeking an experienced Manager of Consumer Advertising to join their team.
As the Manager of Consumer Advertising, you will:
Be a key contributor in the development of consumer marketing and advertising strategies and creative briefs for multi-media campaigns that build the MSK brand and generate demand for MSK services.
Support our expanding list of facilities in the tri-state area, and oversee communications targeted to those who may be facing a diagnosis of cancer.
Interface with agencies and colleagues to develop and manage the overall implementation plan, monitor critical milestones across work streams for all advertising related to Regional efforts and as well as disease and service specific messaging.
Working closely with consumer marketing director, colleagues and agency partners, contribute to integrated marketing strategies including support for opening of new regional facilities.
Provide oversight of creative development for a range of media channels, including TV, Print, OOH, Radio and Digital.
Work with agency to produce final creative assets for media placement and use in MSK owned channels. Incumbent will shepherd creative through legal and other internal reviews as well as manage final approvals prior to release of assets.
Monitor campaign performance against KPIs.
Coordinate/manage related production requirements, including recording studio and animation firm costs, and any relevant talent contracts. Monitor production costs on an ongoing basis.
Participate in all aspects of production, including photo and/or film shoots and final editing rounds.
Research and share relevant information about MSK business and clinical goals, and MSK facility planning as well as competitive business activity (expansions, shifts in service line focus, etc.) from both internal and external information sources.
An effective communicator, possessing excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organized and adept at problem analysis and problem-solving.
Comfortable working in a highly-matrixed, cross-disciplinary environment.
An adaptable team player, with an entrepreneurial mindset.
A Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience, including:
Experience developing, managing and implementing integrated advertising and marketing strategies.
Technical marketing skills, including measurement and performance assessment.
Advertising experience, whether in an agency environment or managing an ad agency, in particular experience with creative development across multiple channels, including custom content.
Healthcare and related experience preferred.
Experience with direct marketing and/or events a plus.
