MSK Data Products is a multidisciplinary team of designers, engineers and data scientists that covers the full lifecycle of project development, from idea stage all the way to production ready. Our cross-functional teams are constantly iterating, solving problems, and working together to make sure we help Memorial Sloan Kettering to accomplish its mission of ending cancer.
We are looking for a Project Manager to help us deliver a great user experience and products to our audience.
As the Project Manager, you will:
Engage and build relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders (Product, Engineering, Data Science, Design, etc).
Work with teams across MSK, such as Strategy and Innovation, and Information Systems, to ensure that our products are aligned.
Able to influence processes within our team to make them more efficient.
Ensure that best practices for software development and design are followed.
Review, prioritize and track progress of issues that affect the product developed the our team.
5+ years of professional experience as a Project Manager.
BA/BS in technical discipline or equivalent experience.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate well.
Ability to work well within a big organization and across multiple departments.
Ability to stay focused under pressure, prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Experience managing Engineering Projects in an Agile Environment is highly preferred but might consider strong candidates without it.
Nice to have:
Engineering and/or hands on programming experience is a plus.
