Responsible for performing corrective and preventative maintenance by testing, servicing and repairing mechanical, pneumatic, electrical and electronic control equipment associated with heating, ventilation, air conditioning and the University-wide energy management system. Must possess knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic and electrical control systems including the ability to apply said knowledge. High school diploma or equivalency required. Must possess a Stationary Operating Engineerâ??s License for the City of Providence and 3 years' related experience in installation, repair and maintenance of electrical and pneumatic control systems. Must have valid motor vehicle operator's license. Starting union rate is $26.22 per hour. Candidates that possess a valid RI Refrigeration journeyman license will be eligible for a rate of $27.39 per hour.
Final candidate will be required to successfully complete a criminal and MVR background check.
