This is a Group II non-tenure track position that reports to the Department Chairperson. The successful candidate will be responsible for (1) teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in the campus-based Coaching Education program; (2) providing performance evaluation assessments for students in the Coaching Education program; (3) coordinating the undergraduate minor in Coaching Education; (4) serving as the faculty liaison to the Coaching Education Club; (5) engaging in academic advising at the graduate and undergraduate levels; and (6) providing service to the department, university, community, and profession.
Earned master's in Coaching Education, Physical Education, Sport Sciences or related discipline
Successful college/university teaching experience at both the graduate and undergraduate levels.
Commitment to experiential learning and the use of instructional technology in the classroom.
Evidence of expertise coaching in a variety of sports at various levels.
Commitment to diversity and inclusion
Doctorate degree in a relevant field.
