Functions of Program Coordinator II
Respond to the concerns of community physicians
Provide operational and informative updates via enewsletter-physician news
Orient new community physicians to Childrenâs Hospital and pediatric services, including electronic medical records as indicated
Assist with clinical faculty appointments and credentialing
Provide hospital departments with customer feedback
Integrate community physicians into hospital-related committees, task forces, and focus groups
Train practices in electronic referral program
Serve as resource for online call schedules program
Fulfill security manger role for community physician users of Vanderbilt systems (VUNet IDs, StarPanel access, etc.)
Additionally, this position will work with program leaders as part of the Physician Services team to develop outreach and communication plans
Utilize multiple IT systems, databases, and applications to support the work of the department.
