Schedule: Full Time- 40 hours per week
Porter Adventist Hospital Centre for Behavioral Health has a wonderful opportunity for a full-time advanced practice nurse. The position provides outpatient psychiatric evaluation and medication management services at our medical office building across from our hospital. The position services primarily adult patients of the clinic and has no evening or after hours call expectations.
Education Requirements (i.e., BSN, High School Diploma, GED)
BSN from accredited school of nursing
Master's Degree in Nursing or applied area of knowledge
Advanced Practice Registered; Prescriptive Authority required
Minimum of one year direct behavioral clinical experience in a healthcare facility or setting. Competence with DSM-V diagnostic criteria and psychiatric evaluation and medication management experience required.
License/Certifications (i.e., RN, BLS, ACLS)
Current Colorado Nursing License
Clinical Nurse Specialist certification in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing
