Prepare scope of work, access needs and workflow, preliminary studies, design documents, budgets and project records for medical and non-medical construction projects. This position requires ability to strategize solutions to complex planning and design assignments, to work efficiently and to create a team environment with allied departments when designing or executing construction projects.
Seasoned design and construction field based professional knowledge; equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design or related field; working knowledge of theory, regulatory/code requirements and practice methodology with a strong focus in the field of Medical Facility Planning, Design & Construction. 5 -10 years applicable Medical Facility Planning & Design and Construction experience.
Microsoft Office Suite - Including Project Manager Program or equivalent; Basic computer skills; Standard Office Equipment; AutoCAD / Revit and/or related Architectural Design Documentation and Project management tools and programs; Medical equipment; Current medical terminology; Critical thinking skills; Current working knowledge of Joint commission, FGI Guidelines, MD State COMAR and other pertinent Life safety design and construction regulatory codes and guidelines.
Required: MD State License or Certification, LEED Certification Preferred
