Program Manager, Summer International Programs
Responsible for engaging broad and diverse audiences through the development, implementation, and promotion of public programming for CCA's Special Programs Office. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, coordinating various public programs for adults and incoming students under the supervision of the Dean of Special Programs, staffing programs, developing awareness efforts and marketing campaign for portfolio programs, as well being a liaison between College departments and the Special Program division regarding new program development. The position is split over an existing core portfolio of programming for CCA's Summer English Language Programs, which are designed for international high school students and incoming undergraduate and graduate students. The remaining program portfolio will entail assisting the Dean of Special Programs with new program development, as well as research and marketing.The position is currently based on the college's Oakland campus; however, time is also spent in San Francisco when the programs are in session.

Recruitment and Enrollment: Serve as primary contact with Summer English Program students and their families—from point of inquiry to arrival at CCA, through day-to-day operations of the programs. Work in conjunction with the Enrollment Services Office to maximize enrollment for Summer English Programs. Identify processes, systems, and timeline for new program development and design and provide support for these new initiatives.
Student Support: Act as a main liaison across departmental program support from campus partners. Coordinate with Student Accounts to track student payments and refunds for Summer English and other programs. Work with Student Records Office to ensure that students are registered in classes and that students receive appropriate grades when applicable. Coordinate with the Office of Residential Life, the Learning Resource Center (LRC), and International Student Affairs and Programs (ISAP) as appropriate. Identify key college stakeholders in new program development to inform program design and timeline.
Program Administration: support program faculty; hire and manage assistants and student employees. Propose and monitor budgets and compile end-of-summer program enrollment/budget final report. Evaluate and document programs. Make recommendations to improve program content based on evaluations and measurement.
Marketing Support: Analyze target audiences and develop appropriate outreach strategies. Work with the the Dean of Special Programs and MAR-COM department to ensure effective promotion of all public programs both through print collateral promotion and digital campaigns. Maintain Summer English Program web presence (website, social media: Facebook, Instagram) and other program web pages as needed.
Programs and Events: Develop and deliver on-campus orientation sessions for summer international students. Coordinate program-specific excursions and workshops as needed.
Office Support: Assist with registering and advising CCA Extension students and other general office support as needed.
