DUTIES:Interlibrary Loan Process borrowing request, pull journals and monographs for photocopying, faxing and scanning and e-mailing articles and book chapters as needed. Monitor ILL email and send electronically received articles to patrons. Prepare Interlibrary Loan mail to go out and process incoming ILL mail.Photocopy Services - Enter request from patrons for photocopy services in ILLiad. Prepare invoice for payment for Photocopy Service patrons.Photocopier and Printer Maintenance - Daily maintenance of all library public printers and photocopiers, including adding paper, staples and toner as needed. Place service calls for printers and copiers as needed.Circulation Desk - Circulate materials for patrons by checking-in, checking-out, renewing library materials and range of circulation transactions and inquiries related to patron accounts, reference, access and other library policies. Sort incoming mail and distribute accordingly.Desktop Troubleshooting - Basic troubleshooting and problem solving of issues concerning the Information Commons computers, assist patrons with technical and software applications, and maintain a basic and functional knowledge of resources.Collection Management - Assist as needed in the de-accessioning process of printed material in the library collection; may include shelf-reading and physical removal of items. Identify materials in need of repair and make a recommendation to the Collection Manager regarding disposition of material.(DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE ABOVE POSITION DESCRIPTION)QUALIFICATIONS:REQUIRED: Experience in computer applications (e.g. Microsoft Office) use in an educational setting or computer lab, involving basic computer troubleshooting. Customer service experience working with library users in an educational setting. Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with faculty, staff and students.
