HUMAN RESOURCES ADMINISTRATOR, Office of the Vice President for Finance (VPF)-Administrative Services and Operations (ASO), to join a team that provides an array of services and functions that keep the 140-person VPF organization running. These services/functions include human resources; community relations; communications; project management; and VPF's own finance, budgeting, space accounting, operations, safety and emergency planning, and IT desktop support. Will advise and assist the VPF director of administrative services and operations on human resources matters and act as a liaison with central Human Resources; administer human resources activities including recruitment, onboarding, performance management and development, rewards and recognition, employee relations, compensation, diversity and inclusion, and general HR forms, systems and operations; ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations; and partner with the director to participate in strategic planning and implementation for VPF.

REQUIRED: a B.S./B.A.; at least five years of human resources experience; comprehensive knowledge of federal and state employment laws and current human resources principles, practices, and trends; strong communication and interpersonal skills; and the demonstrated ability to lead and deliver projects within a defined timeframe and manage competing short- and long-term goals and projects. Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Brio Query desired. Knowledge of the MIT Personnel Policy Manual, human resources guidelines, and internal HR systems strongly desired. Job #14457-P
