Manages the CCURE 9000 – Enterprise access control; including one Master Application Server (MAS) and four Satellite Application Servers (SAS), video surveillance, key management system, alarm system, and emergency communication systems servers.
Programs, configures, and tests all hardware installations within the Public Safety security applications. Works with vendors and/or partners in person, via phone, email, and building plans to identify and program necessary inputs to establish reliable communication between network servers and electronically-controlled field devices; control panels, card readers, video recorders and cameras, intrusion alarms, and key cabinets.
Manages the CCURE 9000 – Enterprise access control database, processing requests for cardholder and access changes, reporting, verifying data and system integrity, and serving as a point of contact for cardholder issues, hardware problems, and emergency services. Configures and maintains clearance codes, building schedules, special events, hardware status alarms, and hardware location plans within the CCURE system. Provides system support for university department facility representatives, and PSECC staff. Prepares and bills work order requests, providing administrative support for line staff. Coordinates service personnel responding to system repairs. Maintains hardware installation and repair documentation and vendor service contract requirements. Participates in system patching and upgrades. Part of team of administrators responsible for applications serving over 125,000 University students, faculty, staff and visitors in 230 plus buildings, state-wide.
