The Project Associate coordinates activities and may run small projects. This role is responsible for managing the implementation of internal projects, sets up and directs project/program schedules and budgets. This role also monitors project/program from initiation through delivery or completion, interfacing with internal customers. In addition, coordinates/organizes interdepartmental activities, ensuring completion of the specific project/ program on schedule and within budget constraints.
Perform project monitoring and control activities (e.g., manage project plan and change requests, track projects against schedule and milestones, and monitor for continuous improvement)
Assist in drafting and maintaining project documentation
Analyze and understand potential roadblocks/barriers to project implementation; and assist in developing contingency plans to mitigate and address risks
Create project plan and assist in preparation of cost/benefit analysis and budgets
Coordinate project activities
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Up to 2 years project management or business analysis experience ideally in an asset management/financial services. Fresh graduates with a keen interest in considering a career in asset management are welcome to apply
Ability to identify, write and prioritize business requirements
Ability to manage projects with multi-month time lines
Ability to adapt communication style to level and scope of communication, which may include a diverse audience, including co-workers, business unit managers and vendors
Proficiency using Microsoft products including MS Project, Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint
