As a Full-time Training Coordinator your work supports activities that insures the quality care of children and families in the South Suburban Cook communities. The Training Coordinator organizes tasks related to the all training activities in the service area. You must have a general knowledge of the Child Care Resource and Referral System in Illinois along with an understanding of the Gateways to Oppurtunity Early Childhood credential framework.
In addition, the Training Coordinator is responsible to evaluate the community for training needs as related to requirments set by the state of Illinois. Training Coordinator must have a knowledge base that can help guide clients in their professional growth. Must have some experience working with young children in a child care setting.

Bachelors in Early Childhood or related field with some EC course work.
Gateways Registry Membership completed within first month.
Must have own transportation and hold a valid State of Illinois Driver’s License in good standing.
Ability to work autonomously with strong organizational skills.
Must have Experience in Child Care and or related work field
Proficient in windows office suite program word, excel, access, publisher, and power point.
Experience using LCD projector and problem solving presentation issues.
Availability of flexible hour schedule requiring evening, and Saturday hours.
Must be able to lift at least 25lbs and move training equipment
