| The Center for Biostatistics in AIDS Research (CBAR) is an organization at the Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health responsible for the design, monitoring and statistical analysis of clinical trials for several clinical trials networks. These include the International Maternal Pediatric Adolescent AIDS Clinic Trials (IMPAACT) group and the largest HIV-related clinical trials network in the world, the AIDS Clinical Trials Group (ACTG). Results from these trials have helped to establish a paradigm for the management of HIV disease, forming the basis of current treatment guidelines and resulting in dramatic reductions in AIDS mortality around the globe. |
We are seeking a SAS Programmer to join our team of over 100 programmers, biostatisticians, epidemiologists, and research staff in our cause to eliminate the morbidity associated with HIV-1 infection and its complications and co-infections.
Specific duties and responsibilities include:
- Provide advanced SAS programming and statistical applications support.
- Independently target, investigate and solve problems in order to create, design and implement a variety of organization-wide programs, graphics modules and program suites in SAS, UNIX and other statistical programming languages.
- A large part of this position is creating, modifying and maintaining the modular standardization programs that are used by all of the analysts at CBAR.
- Expertise in advanced areas of SAS such as macro language and ODS.
- Acting as a SAS resource and mentor for biostatisticians and programmers.
- Other duties as assigned.

Only one of these requisitions will be filled. The grade will depend on the incumbents skills and experience.
