Rutgers School of Nursing is seeking a Clinical Coordinator for the Francois-Xavier Bagnoud Center (FXB Center). The Clinical Coordinator will be responsible for conducting systematic chart review for the dental and case management component of the Division of HIV, STD and TB Services (DHSTS) of the New Jersey Department of Health (NJDOH). This FXB Center project is an HIV/AIDS primary care program funded through the Ryan White Program to determine how well funded agencies demonstrate professional standards of care. The Clinical Coordinator will be responsible for working alongside the Quality Management Team in all relevant activities.
Actively participates in the planning, development, and implementation of the dental and case management program.
Leads or assists with on-site chart reviews; leads the development of site reports indicating proficiencies and areas of needed improvement.
Shares outcome results with agencies and NJDOH; utilizes quality management improvement strategies to assist agencies in developing improvement projects and PDSA testing cycles.
Oversees chart review database with the Program Manager; works with database developer as needed.
Conducts post-chart review outcomes, designed to measure the effectiveness of the proposed and implemented improvement measures.
Coordinates quarterly network committee meetings; provides presentations to network members.
Home Location Campus: Newark (RBHS)
Chart review, continuous quality management, and clinical experience in HIV or community health preferred. Basic knowledge of CQM principles and tools recommended.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to interpret lab values. Working knowledge of MS Office. Ability to generate reports in Word, Excel and Access and create Power Point presentations. Valid driver's license with access to a vehicle.
