This is a TEMPORARY, FULL-TIME position, scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. It begins Upon Hire and is expected to run through August of 2017.

UWC has an outstanding opportunity for four (4) Temporary Campus Coordinators within their Summer Youth Program (SYP.).
Temporary Campus Coordinators work on-campus with the UW's summer enrichment program for youth. Serving as the face of the program to children/teens, parents, and visitors, coordinators work in conjunction with the Summer Youth Programs Director and Program Administrators to maintain the daily operations of the program.
Supervision of group leaders and volunteers.
Conduct/participate in training sessions and staff meetings.
Facilitate daily communication with students, group leaders, instructors, program administration, volunteers and parents.
Supervise student check in and out process each day.
Oversee student discipline as needed.
Make recommendations regarding the purchasing of supplies and other materials as needed.
Supervise the daily clean up and storing of materials.
Serve as liaison to instructors.
Other duties as assigned.
BA in Education, Social Work, Outdoor/Educational Leadership, School Psychology or related field.
Experience managing staff and volunteers.
Experience working with children/teens in formal and informal learning settings (e.g. camps, after school programs, sports).
Ability to multi-task, works effectively under pressure and deal firmly and fairly with issues that arise.
CPR/First Aid certified by June 2017.
MA/M Ed. Preferred.
CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT:
Requires the ability to spend significant amounts of time each day walking to and from various locations.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 pounds.
Must be willing and able to work in the elements for significant amounts of time day-to-day.
