DUTIES:Under the supervision of the HR Manager, perform a broad range of HR functions including but not limited to: Provide HR support to Exempt, Non-Exempt, union and non-union employees. Review and update personnel transactions to comply with requirements of the Bargaining units and Regulatory agencies. Responsible for entering all professional and classified transaction forms into the HR Management System.Provide a range of HR functions to support the HR Generalists including but not limited to Recruitment, Appointments, New Hire on-boarding, Classification & Compensation, Benefits, Immigration, Credentialing, Exit Interviews, Temporary Agency Staff, Budget reconciliation and Records Retention.Review, research and analyze requests from supervisor to change and update Time Management System (TAS).Review faculty compensation letters for compliance with DMC's Academic Administration and Clinical Practice requirements. Develop and maintain a reserve of SUNY position numbers (position line management) to meet the needs of the institution as dictated by employee status changes and addition of new positions. Interact with DMC departmental supervisors, administrators and employees to ensure accurate processing of personnel transactions.(DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE ABOVE POSITION DESCRIPTION)QUALIFICATIONS:REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Public Administration, Business Management or a related field. 2-5 years of relevant experience and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access. Prior administrative experience in an academic medical center or healthcare setting is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills to interact with employees at all levels. Ability to demonstrative strong follow up skills and sense of urgency. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
