HMC Maintenance has an outstanding opportunity for a full time day shift UTILITY WORKER 2. The individual in this role will perform semi-skilled work in grounds maintenance on Harborview Medical Center campus grounds. Perform semi-skilled work in maintaining facilities, utility areas, grounds and equipment to support grounds shop.
A summary of the Utility Worker II responsibilities:
Maintenance activities on grounds, roofs, gutters, walks, driveways and access ways to building utilities.
Perform minimal gardening duties such as planting, seeding, mowing, and lawn maintenance as needed.
Operate motorized equipment such as automobiles, trucks, forklifts, small tractors, street cleaning equipment, trenchers and turf renovation equipment.
Load and unload trucks.
Clean, service, adjust, and make repairs on tools and equipment.
Perform related duties as required.

Physical strength to do required work AND two years of experience as a Utility Worker I OR equivalent education/experience.
