The Washington D.C. office is seeking a Litigation Technology Data Analyst for the Discovery Practice Area. This position provides critical litigation technology support to technology project managers and legal case teams, assists with custom solutions and development, and is responsible for processing, ingesting and producing documents from electronic systems.
As a Litigation Technology Data Analyst, you will:
Provide technical support and solutions for litigation teams
Perform matter management activities such as: new matter set-up, loading and indexing documents, database administration, creating document productions, new user and group set-up, ftp of data, and creating CD’s and DVD’s
Perform data processing with in-house eDiscovery tools
Answer and appropriately handle incoming customer support requests, escalating problems when appropriate
Provide data processing and ingestion services along with appropriate tracking and reporting
2 years previous experience with the following: new matter set-up, loading and indexing documents, database administration, creating document productions, new user and group set-up, ftp of data, and creating CD’s and DVD’s
Software experience with tools such as: MS Excel (creating formulas), MS Access, SQL, TextPad, Ultra Edit, Adobe, TrueCrypt, FileZilla
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
Ability to work in a fast paced environment working under strict deadlines
Ability to work flexible hours and beyond regularly scheduled work hours to include evenings and weekends and participate in on-call rotation
Experience within a vendor environment preferred but not required
Litigation application software experience using Relativity, Concordance, IPRO eCapture, Allegro, LAW, Livenote (Case Notebook), Casemap, Textmap, Timemap and Trial Director preferred but not required
Familiarity with DOJ, FTC, SEC, and other types of native and tiff production formats preferred but not required
